What a wonderful dinner and such amazing people. Shaenhet, Elvira and Dixon treated us amazingly. The food was so tasty. Ramen I. Particular was perfection and the sushi…OMG!! Will go back. The music was also fun and funky. Good laughs, good memories.

If you’re in Coventry and craving Japanese food that will truly blow your mind, SHIN Japanese Kitchen & Bar is the place to go.
We tried the Spicy Sakura Ramen and Hot Salmon Sushi, and wow… I’m still thinking about them. The sushi completely took us by surprise, perfectly crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth salmon on the inside, and the flavors were so balanced it felt like a little work of art. Pair it with their chili oil and it’s like breaking through the 4th wall, next-level good. It was our first time trying something that incredible.
Then came the ramen. The broth was rich, wholesome, and had this subtle smoky flavor that was just perfect, not too spicy, not too salty, just balanced and comforting. The pork? It literally melted in the mouth. Add a bit of chili oil and it’s game over.
After 3 years of trying different places, I can finally say this is one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to when it comes to food and flavor. And the staff? So friendly and welcoming, which just makes the whole experience even better.
Oh, and the portion sizes for the price? Honestly, amazing. You’re getting real value for your money.

Best Japanese food in town. We had the afternoon set for 14.99. Each came with a bowl of ramen and 5 pcs of gyoza plus drink or 8 pcs of salmon and avocado sushi plus gyoza plus a drink. Service was excellent and waiter was very attentive and gave us a lot of tips traveling around. The chef was a Japanese so the ramen and the soup was very authentic. I would definitely come back.

Absolutely love the atmosphere of this place! I always come here for the bibimbap and it never disappoints! The service is good, however, the staff can come off as rude at times so it’s really a 50/50 for me. Other than that the food and the atmosphere are great and I would definitely recommend the place!

Loved SHIN Japanese Kitchen & Bar. The salmon teriyaki was tender and flavorful, the chicken karaage crispy and juicy, and the ebi yukari roll was fresh and creative. Friendly service and a chic vibe—will definitely return. 5 stars.

The salmon was so fresh, it’s the belly part of the salmon. Chicken skewers was so moist. The Raman taste very authentic! Service was good, it’s only if they’re too busy it’s lack of waiters working, just need to be a bit patient with them. But the service still good.

I’m surprise that there are a Japanese restaurant in Coventry with a high end quality of food and decoration of Interior design. Price is quality-pricing competitive. £23 with a bid sushi box, no where can find it. Sitting area is so relax with big area , table and chair. Friendly staff and nice service. Cannot find anything to complaint. Let’ go try yourself!

We arrived for a late meal (last minute plans) with just 15 min to order and 45 before restaurant closing, despite being the only customers, we were made to feel very welcome and not rushed at all. Food was wonderful, hot and fresh and generous portions, (so much that we had leftovers to take home). Will be recommending and looking to go back
